HOWMANYSALES ADVISORY

Financial clarity for better business decisions.

Financial models, custom calculators and data workflows built around a decision your business needs to make. Start with a discovery conversation.

Quotation-based projects. An enquiry starts a conversation, not a paid engagement.

Start with the decision.
Build the model around it.

A free calculator can answer a focused question. A custom model connects the questions: how sales translate into contribution, when cash is collected, which costs change with growth, and where your assumptions could break down.

Projects are scoped for specialist-led delivery with human review. The analyst, reviewer, approach and deliverables will be confirmed in your proposal. No automated recommendation or financial outcome is promised.

CUSTOM STARTS WITH DISCOVERY

A clear scope before a custom solution.

Start with a discovery call to discuss the decision, available data and rules your business uses. We identify the modelling and technical expertise needed, then confirm who will deliver and review the work in your proposal.

For complex projects, a paid discovery phase may produce a data assessment, specification and acceptance criteria before implementation is quoted. Any discovery fee is agreed in advance.

Implementation is priced separately from recurring hosting, connector maintenance or review support. A one-off model does not automatically require a subscription. Self-service subscriptions do not include unlimited bespoke development.

PRACTICAL ANALYSIS, CLEAR OUTPUTS

What do you need to understand?

Custom business calculators

Turn a recurring pricing, quoting or planning decision into a calculator with clear inputs and rules.

Typical deliverables

An agreed calculation specification, tested examples, an editable or hosted tool and a handover. Hosting and ongoing changes are scoped separately.

Useful when

A service quote that depends on labour, materials and capacity, or a product price floor using your own cost rules. Starts with a discovery call.

Data workflows & integration discovery

Assess how your files and systems could support a repeatable business review, then define a practical implementation scope.

Typical deliverables

A source map, field definitions, data-quality checks, proposed workflow and acceptance criteria. Connector development follows a separate agreed proposal.

Useful when

Combining revenue and costs from spreadsheets, accounting, billing or CRM systems. No universal connector or live access is promised at enquiry stage.

Business valuation

Financial valuation models using DCF and comparable-company approaches where appropriate to the business, evidence and purpose.

Typical deliverables

A valuation model and report, documented sources and assumptions, sensitivity analysis and limitations. Method and suitability are agreed during scoping.

Useful when

Understanding a range of indicative business values for an internal planning or transaction discussion. Not a guarantee of a transaction price.

Financing models

Prepare financial projections and funding requirements to support financing discussions.

Typical deliverables

Funding needs, debt service and repayment scenarios, cash flow projections and documented financing assumptions.

Useful when

Assessing whether forecast cash flows can support proposed repayments. Financing approval is not guaranteed.

Grant financial models

Project budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial feasibility models supporting grant applications.

Typical deliverables

An agreed financial model and supporting schedules matched to the specific call documentation supplied and checked during discovery.

Useful when

Preparing financial documentation for programmes such as NFOŚiGW, KPO or CUPT, subject to the current requirements of the relevant call. No affiliation, endorsement or award guarantee is implied.

Financial due diligence support

Focused financial data review, working capital analysis, earnings quality support and identification of financial risks.

Typical deliverables

Supporting schedules, reconciliation notes, an analytical report and a clear record of scope and evidence limitations.

Useful when

Supporting a business acquisition or investment review with financial analysis. This is not statutory audit or certified assurance.

Financial modelling & forecasting

Connect revenue drivers, operating costs and funding needs in a model built around the decisions you need to make.

Typical deliverables

An editable model, an assumptions register and a walkthrough of the key outputs; scope and forecast period agreed in advance.

Useful when

Planning a new business line or building a startup operating plan from historical results and explicit assumptions.

Business profitability analysis

Understand what contributes to profit across products, services or channels, and where revenue may hide weak economics.

Typical deliverables

A contribution breakdown, allocation assumptions, sensitivity analysis and a concise findings report.

Useful when

A business growing revenue without a corresponding improvement in operating profit.

Sales & revenue forecasting

Build a forecast from identifiable drivers such as order volume, conversion, average order value and retention.

Typical deliverables

A driver-based forecast, conservative/base/optimistic cases and a documented comparison with available historical data.

Useful when

Planning capacity or inventory for a seasonal business with uneven sales.

Cost structure analysis

Separate fixed, variable and step costs so you can see what changes when the business scales.

Typical deliverables

A cost map, break-even analysis and the key cost drivers to monitor.

Useful when

Assessing whether a higher order volume can cover the cost of a new employee or facility.

Cash flow & working capital planning

Model when cash arrives and leaves, including supplier terms, customer collections, inventory and planned investment.

Typical deliverables

A cash forecast, working capital schedule and scenarios showing the timing of potential funding gaps.

Useful when

A profitable business that needs to understand why cash becomes tight before a busy trading period.

Pricing strategy modelling

Compare the financial effect of price, discount and cost changes while making demand assumptions visible.

Typical deliverables

A pricing sensitivity model, contribution comparison and an explanation of volume assumptions.

Useful when

Testing a price change without assuming that sales volume will stay constant.

Business scenario & sensitivity analysis

Explore which assumptions matter most and what would have to change for a plan to remain viable.

Typical deliverables

A scenario comparison, sensitivity tables and a clear statement of model boundaries.

Useful when

Comparing a slower-growth case with a higher-cost case before committing resources.

Management reporting & decision support

Turn a one-time set of business data into a focused reporting framework for the decisions you face.

Typical deliverables

A reporting template, KPI definitions, reconciliation notes and a management summary.

Useful when

Bringing scattered spreadsheets into a consistent monthly review format without adding a live integration.

E-commerce financial modelling

Connect order economics with returns, fulfillment, payment fees, channel costs and inventory timing.

Typical deliverables

An order-to-contribution model, advertising scenarios and an optional inventory/cash schedule within the agreed scope.

Useful when

Comparing the profitability and working capital needs of different products or acquisition channels.

A MODEL YOU CAN QUESTION

History, assumptions and forecasts.
Clearly separated.

Initial projects use one-time datasets and client assumptions. After scope and confidentiality are agreed, sources may include Excel or CSV exports, historical sales, financial statements, cost breakdowns and business plans. Live integrations require separate technical discovery and an agreed implementation scope.

  1. Historical inputs

Record source, period and reconciliation status. A supplied figure is not described as verified until the agreed checks have been completed.

  2. Client assumptions

Document ownership, rationale, date and uncertainty for conversion, pricing, costs, seasonality and other drivers.

  3. Forecasts and limitations

Show modelled outcomes separately from historical results. Explain sensitivities, exclusions and the conditions under which the model should be revisited.

Before you enquire

What should I include?

A short, non-confidential description of the decision you need to make, the kind of business involved and any relevant timing. A budget range is optional and helps with scoping; it is not a quoted price.

Will you need access to our systems?

No credentials or confidential files are needed in the enquiry. Discovery establishes whether an export is enough or a connection is justified. Secure transfer, access and retention are agreed before data collection.

Is AI involved?

AI may assist an analyst only under agreed data-handling rules. Enquiry information is not automatically sent to an AI system. Consequential calculations and recommendations require human verification and appropriate quality review before delivery.

Is this investment, audit or tax advice?

The offering is business planning and analysis. It does not include regulated investment advice, statutory audit, certified accounting services or tax representation. Any regulated work requires separately confirmed qualifications and an appropriate engagement.
